Christmas

We had such a nice Christmas. Another Holiday that goes by and not a picture of me because the camera is in my hand. Tom and Sharon's was so much fun with all 12 of the Grandkids. And I got a picture of Tom and Sharon with the 12 of them.
My Aunt and Grandma came up last minute from the Bay Area. It was nice to have all the family together again. I had to work yesterday so My Grandma and Lori watched the kids. Abbi had a great time with them. I tryed to work today and got called off, which is really a bummer. The economy is really hurting the Spa. Usually the weekend after Christmas I would have 6 or 7 massages or facials and today I had none. Oh well. I hope everyone had a great Christmas like I did.

Dress Up!

Kristy and her Mom got Abbi a bunch of dress up stuff for Christmas. It cracks me up when I look over and Thomas is getting into it. He wears this hat and walks around with the biggest smile on his face.

Our Sledding Adventure

This year Bug and I decided to drive to Washington before Christmas instead of after Christmas. We had a great time. It's always so nice to spend time with Jaosn and Amy. We wish we lived closer!
Amy and I bundled the kids up and we drove up the Skok valley and built a bon fire.We had a great time with the kids roasting hot dogs and smores. And they had a ball sledding.

Washington

We had the best week in Washington. It went by way to fast. Abbi and Lily had a great time together and they got along really well. They played dress up every extra minute they had. Time went by way to fast to spend more time with everyone. At least I was able to get the pictures of the 12 kids.

4 cheese balls in the bath tub. Yelling, CHEESEBURGERS!!!

12 kids!

We tryed to get some pictures of all 12 kids. They turned out O.K. This one was taken about an hour after dinner when it was closer to everyones bed times. And I think it shows in the picture. Lily and Adam are the only ones smiling.
This one was taken right after dinner when everyone was full and happier. Lacy is holding Thomas. Bella is holding Sam. Then Leah, Abbi and Mason. Payton is holding Rowan. Adam is holding Ethan and then Lily. I guess I never thought it at the time. But there are 3 groups of 4 cousins in these pictures. Kinda crazy how things end up. So many cute kids!

Virginia City

The day after Thanksgiving my Dad my Sister the kids, and I went to Virginia City and spent the day together. It was nice to do something with my Dad since it seems like I'm always out and about with my Mom. We had such a great day. I have had these pictures since then and I have wanted to post them. But since they are going on my Christmas cards I didn't want to blow it. I sent out my cards on Monday. So since people will be getting them soon, I decided to show my pictures.
I like the color one. I think it shows the kids better and they're both smiling. But Bug made a good point, that the black and white is more Western. He won our card, (which everyone should be getting any day now,) has the black and white.

Our Tree

I thought before I told you about my tree this year I would look back on our tree last year. I climbed to the top of a huge hill. Pretty much because Luke and Bug told me I could never get that tree, so it put a little fuel in my fire and I got it. Once again no picture. Bug and Luke were at the bottom. Bug even had the camera in his hand, no picture. I went up there with a hand saw and got my tree. I was looking at this picture before I posted it. Of course at first I noticed how much snow we had compared to this year. And how much Luke looks likes Bug in this picture. Yes, this picture is of Luke and Abbi, because Bug was holding Thomas and I was determined to get a picture of my tree before it was inside. I can't believe how much snow we had. Bug and I have talked about it a lot, in the last week, we know it is going to dump while we are in Washington. And The Mountain is going to get VERY snowed in. It never fails everytime we go we get horrible weather here. I picked up a bunch of days at the Resort and if it doesn't snow I won't be busy. So I hope we get a little snow, so I can work.
I let Abbi pick our tree out this year. This is what she picked. So I thought why not lets go with it. Bug wasen't home from work yet and it was getting dark so we took a few pictures in front if it then headed home. Before we took the pictures I put the kids in their snowsuits because it was cold out, as you can see there is no snow. But sometimes a snow suit is easier than hat, jacket and warmer pants. The next day (Saturday), Bug and Abbi went out to cut it down while I stayed home when Thomas napped. Thats why there are no pictures of them cutting it down.

It looks a lot better in the tree stand in our dining room.

I tryed once again to take pictures of the kids in their outfits. My Mom and Dad (Nana and Papa) have bought both the kids antique rocking chairs for their first Birthdays. And once again they didn't turn out. This is the best but it's blurry.

This one is O.K. but Thomas has a silly look on his face.

This one shows how the pictures went. Abbi was done so she decided to dump Thomas out of his chair.

Thanksgiving

These are the pictures I took around Thanksgiving, it just takes me a long time to post things. Where does the time go? At least my Christmas cards will go out this week. I love them so much. The picture of the kids turned out REALLY cute.
The day of the Holidays are really busy for me with all the family we have, so I try and get the kids the day before in their outfits. But I have the hardest time trying to get a one year old and a 3 1/2 year old to smile at the same time without Abbi's cheesy smile. I know she's thinking..... Will you just take dang picture Mom!?! At first her smile is cute then Thomas isen't smiling and by the time Thomas is smiling and she's done. What can I do??? Nothing!!! I took 62 pictures and these were the best. I love digital pictures this would of been a lot of film!

Halloween night

We had such a fun night on Halloween. It ended up being a super late night. Ending with Rachel and I singing Dirty Dancing at my parents. I'm glad no one took any pictures of that or was recording. At every door the kids were practically taking eachother down to be the first one in to get more candy.
This is on some random persons yard, that we don't even know. But it made a cute picture.

Here are all the kids. They all had so much fun. I was wondering what to do with all the candy, how I was going to keep it all away from Abbi and she forgot about it. It's sitting in the pantry. Although I have caught Bug in there a couple of times.

Napping

Thomas has been transitioning from two naps to one nap slowly over the last month. It has been absolutely amazing the last 2 days that both of my kids are napping at the same time. You'd think my house would be clean or I'd be scrapbooking. To tell you the truth, I've haven't done a darn thing and I love it. I'm watching the E! Channel and just relaxing. It feels really good.

Tonight we are going Trick or Treating in Verdi after dinner at a friends house. I hope we have a good time. It's a little cold out. But growing up in Tahoe, I don't really remember a Halloween without snow or crummy weather. Last night we took the kids to a Haunted House. Abbi really wanted to dress up as a poodle. We have this old costume so I put her in that and Thomas in Abbi's old Dalmatian costume. They looked really cute. Tonight she want to be a Princess. That's 3 different costumes. We'll see what she says when she wakes up. Because we all know how fast a 3 year old changes her mind. Happy Trick or Treating!

Halloween Party!

We had a Halloween Party my parents this weekend. It was a lot of fun. I said on the invites that everyone had to dress up, and everyone but 2 people dressed up. It was nice everyone cooperated. Some people got pretty creative with their costumes. It ended up being a pretty long night.
Thomas was so good at the party, considering that he didn't take a nap all day.

Janel did come and she was only 3 hours late. It was really nice to spend time with her.

Kristy and I have a a picture together. YEAH!!

Mindy dressed up as Sarah Palin and Darryl as Joe the Plumber it was really funny! Darryl won the best individual costume.

Cutey little Sam.

Dr. Evil and Mini Me. The winners of the group costume contest.

The Morrissey's !

Candy. Is that a cocktail? You look a little Preggo.

The Winter Family.

We all dressed up as Wizard of Oz. Papa (As the Wizard) didn't put very much effort into his costume. But oh well.

Thomas is Jenn's wig. So funny.

We tried once again, to get a picture of all the kids together it turned out O.K. Skyla (White trash daughter), Thomas (The Lion), Abbi (Dorothy), Leah (Dora), Kaden (Winnie the Pooh), Tanner (Motor Cycle Man), Trent (Fireman), John (I don't think he knew it was a costume party), Michaela (A Dragon), Sam (A Monkey), Jordyn (Cheerleader), Isabell (Minnie Mouse), Brett (Mini Me), Hudson (Squirt the Turtle-But the costume didn't last very long).

We got a pictures of all the girls. But I just noticed that Sarah Palin is missing. Melissa (Biker), Me (Tin Man), Tara (Flapper Girl), Jaime (Glenda), Natalie (Witch), Jenn (Foxey Cleopatra), Maura (Sexy Fire Girl), Rachel (Alicia), Nana (Wicked Witch of the West), Jamie (Little Boo Peep) and Heather (Candy, a knocked up White Trash girl). Heather was in character all night and she was cracking me up. Her husband (Jason) dressed up as Butch, her white trash husband and he was also in character all night.
