Napping

Thomas has been transitioning from two naps to one nap slowly over the last month. It has been absolutely amazing the last 2 days that both of my kids are napping at the same time. You'd think my house would be clean or I'd be scrapbooking. To tell you the truth, I've haven't done a darn thing and I love it. I'm watching the E! Channel and just relaxing. It feels really good.

Tonight we are going Trick or Treating in Verdi after dinner at a friends house. I hope we have a good time. It's a little cold out. But growing up in Tahoe, I don't really remember a Halloween without snow or crummy weather. Last night we took the kids to a Haunted House. Abbi really wanted to dress up as a poodle. We have this old costume so I put her in that and Thomas in Abbi's old Dalmatian costume. They looked really cute. Tonight she want to be a Princess. That's 3 different costumes. We'll see what she says when she wakes up. Because we all know how fast a 3 year old changes her mind. Happy Trick or Treating!

Halloween Party!

We had a Halloween Party my parents this weekend. It was a lot of fun. I said on the invites that everyone had to dress up, and everyone but 2 people dressed up. It was nice everyone cooperated. Some people got pretty creative with their costumes. It ended up being a pretty long night.
Thomas was so good at the party, considering that he didn't take a nap all day.

Janel did come and she was only 3 hours late. It was really nice to spend time with her.

Kristy and I have a a picture together. YEAH!!

Mindy dressed up as Sarah Palin and Darryl as Joe the Plumber it was really funny! Darryl won the best individual costume.

Cutey little Sam.

Dr. Evil and Mini Me. The winners of the group costume contest.

The Morrissey's !

Candy. Is that a cocktail? You look a little Preggo.

The Winter Family.

We all dressed up as Wizard of Oz. Papa (As the Wizard) didn't put very much effort into his costume. But oh well.

Thomas is Jenn's wig. So funny.

We tried once again, to get a picture of all the kids together it turned out O.K. Skyla (White trash daughter), Thomas (The Lion), Abbi (Dorothy), Leah (Dora), Kaden (Winnie the Pooh), Tanner (Motor Cycle Man), Trent (Fireman), John (I don't think he knew it was a costume party), Michaela (A Dragon), Sam (A Monkey), Jordyn (Cheerleader), Isabell (Minnie Mouse), Brett (Mini Me), Hudson (Squirt the Turtle-But the costume didn't last very long).

We got a pictures of all the girls. But I just noticed that Sarah Palin is missing. Melissa (Biker), Me (Tin Man), Tara (Flapper Girl), Jaime (Glenda), Natalie (Witch), Jenn (Foxey Cleopatra), Maura (Sexy Fire Girl), Rachel (Alicia), Nana (Wicked Witch of the West), Jamie (Little Boo Peep) and Heather (Candy, a knocked up White Trash girl). Heather was in character all night and she was cracking me up. Her husband (Jason) dressed up as Butch, her white trash husband and he was also in character all night.

The Pumpkin Patch

I took the kids to one of the local pumpkin patches in Reno. They had a lot of fun. It was so hot. It was the first time I took my flip flops off. (Amy, after reading your message about the Reefs I know you hear me.) So I had shoes on for the first time. They are so hot I can't deal. And I had jeans and short sleeve shirt shirt on and I was roasting. (LITERALLY). But the kids enjoyed it. Thats all that matters right?I think this is such a cute picture of Thomas.

Abbi loved to watch the animals there, but it smelled to bad for her.

Getting 2 kids to look at the camera without my Daughters fake smile has to be the hardest thing EVER!

I wish my muffin top was that cute!

Pumpkins Pumpkins and More Pumpkins

We carved Pumpkins a little early this year. They are actually already all moldy and we had to throw them away. Oh well. It was still fun while we did it. We found some really fun ideas on www.NickJr.com

Yummy
Abbi picked this one out of a book. It has a lot more teeth but we figured because Thomas still only has 2 bottom teeth, that we would do the same with the pumpkin.

Diego, Dora and Swipper.

Michaela's B-day

Yesterday was Michaela's Birthday. It had been a little since we have gotten all the kiddos together. It was a lot of fun. Very hectic like always with 11 kids 5 and under.
Abbi loved being able to decorate her won "pup cake" with "Sprinklers".

Yesterday was Michaela's Birthday Party. We haven't had all the kids together in a little while so it was nice for all of them to play. I know this picture is a little blurry. I'm still trying to figure out how to use my new camera. It would probably help if I read the owners manual. But I guess I prefer to figure stuff out on my own. From left to right is (bottom) Mera, Thomas, Michaela, and Brett. (Top) Leah, Abbi, Trent, J.C., Sam, Jordyn and Isabell.

Boomtown

My Mom and I would take the kids to Boomtown all the time but we haven't gone in a while. I guess we tend to go more in the Winter. Anyways they played forever and we didn't even put any money in. They had a great time!

If the Tin Man and The Scarecrow had a baby!

As I said in another Post Bug is going to be The Scarecrow for Halloween and I'm going to be the Tin Man. My Parents, My Sis and My Wife were over for breakfast this morning and they wanted to see all the stuff I've gotten for the costumes. So Abbi put it all on. Here is my Tin-Crow.

Scrapbooking

I have been trying REALLY hard to stay caught up with my scrapbooking. I hate having all those pictures and trying to figure out how old Thomas was and what we were doing that day. I'm really excited about making Thomas's year old page. I'm just waiting for a stamp I ordered.

Mindy's hired me to do all her scrapbooking for her. Now that been a little challenging. 3 years of pictures in a box. It's even harder when it's not your kid because it's harder to know where she was and what was going on. But I'm getting better. Looking at the length of her hair and how many teeth she had has helped me. This is the page of her first Rodeo.

This is a page called Big Beautiful Bellies. It's pictures of all of us when we were preggo. Man we had some big tummies! But it's so nice to have these pictures of all of us together.

This is Thomas's 9 month page. I cut all the circles with my Cricut. I love that machine it is the COOLEST thing ever. (THANK YOU MINDY!)

OVER IT!

I guess I'm over my Wizard of Oz doll kick. Tommorow is the last day. So I thought it would be fun to look at them on Ebay. The whole set sells for $40. There are 12 dolls and at $1.69 each that makes $20.28. And I guess when I buy one here and there and when everyone knows you are on the look for them they buy you one also. So to spend $40 on them all it!! No Thank YOU!! We won't be able to get the whole collection for the party.

You know what I just realized tonight???? Has anyone read the book Stori Telling by Tori Spelling? It's kinda crazy. (Thanks Bee for lending it to me!) These are the dolls that she always got for her Birthday. She calls them the rich mans Barbie. (They must be the bigger ones not the ones that come in Happy Meals). She said she had a case in her room where they went and she always felt like they were staring her. I can now see that. They have the weirdest eyes.

Correction

So I just went onto the McDonalds website. Because both my sister and Bug got Abbi the Lion this morning. Oh well. But I realized that Abbi doesn't have Glenda she has a Lullaby Munckin. Whatever that is. I never knew there were Lullaby Munckins. But it does make a lot of sence I thought it was weird that Glenda had brown hair on the doll when in the movie she has blond hair. I guess I could of read the packaging. Oh well. It's kinda freaky on the website all the eyes blink.

The Wizard Of Oz

I have been thinking a lot about my blog. I'm so far behind and I have been trying to figure out if I wanted to try and back track. But I have decided not to. I think it will just be to much to try and go back. I'm almost caught up on my scrapbooking.(For Thomas, I'm not even close for Abbi, Misty is having a scrap in November and I'm so excited.) Maybe I will just post the pages. I have made some pretty cool pages lately that I'm kinda proud of.
We kept trying to figure out where to put the kids to get the right picture. This one wasn't my favorite but oh well.
My Grandma bought her theses shoes last time we went to go and see her. She loved them so much that she had to sleep with them one. They are starting to get to small. I saw some at Target the other day that look very similar I might have to get them. But I don't think they'll do so well in all the snow we will be getting in the next couple of months. Wouldn't boots that looked like that be cool? LOL

Check out my cute Lion. I thought he wouldn't like his costume, but he loved it!

We are throwing a Halloween Party and this is the picture I used for the invitations. I want everyone to try and dress up in themed family costumes. I have heard a few good ideas. It should be a fun night. We started out as Abbi wanting to be Dorothy and now the Wizard of Oz theme is getting a lot bigger. Bug will be the Scarecrow. I will be the tin man. My sister will be Glenda. My Mom will be the Wicked Witch of the West. My Dad will be the Wizard. My Sisters friend Amy will be a lolipop kid. I can't wait to get some picture of this it should be good.

We went to McDonalds the other day. (We had to have some grease after a long night at a wedding.) And I saw that the toys there were Wizard of Oz. I think it's really cool. Abbi is getting a kick out of getting the toys. We got her Glenda that day. Then today my sister and I were at Wal-Mart and we have McDonalds in our Wal-Mart, so Bee bought her the Wizard. I think we only have 10 more to go. Thats a lot of stops at McDonalds. At least you can get the toys without eating there.
